The Curry Room
The Curry Room at The Rubens at the Palace, adjacent to Hotel 41, serves an inspired three-course menu created by Chef Arun Kumar. Working closely with Head Chef Kevin Joseph at our sister property, The Oyster Box Hotel in Durban, the menu celebrates authentic flavours made with the finest ingredients and exclusively imported spices from India.
The intimate and supremely comfortable setting of the restaurant incorporates Rajasthani hand embroidery and rich red colours which reflect the vibrant diversity of the dishes. Mohan and his team will take you on a gourmet journey through the menu, beginning with keema samosa, poppadums, homemade lime pickle, mango chutney, and mint raita.
A choice of mains includes inspired traditional Indian curries. Complete the experience with a choice of desserts, including Indian-influenced Kulfi ice cream.
