    Carnation SVG

    No request is too large,
    no detail too small

    A vision for service excellence.
    A passion for generous hospitality.

    Our family

Led by Resident Manager Lauren Hargreave, Hotel 41 is a family of dedicated people, who are passionate about everything we do. We are proud to be a part of the family-owned and run Red Carnation Hotel Collection and we strive to create enriching and unforgettable experiences for our guests. That’s why they choose to stay with us again and again – and why we have been voted TripAdvisor’s number one hotel in the UK for ten consecutive years, as well as being awarded a Forbes Five Star.

    Remarkable location

Simply no other hotels in London have such close proximity to Buckingham Palace. Together with our next-door sister hotel, The Rubens, we are directly opposite Her Majesty The Queen’s illustrious residence. The location is uniquely vibrant; guests can step outside into the middle of bustling Victoria, while famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and St James’s Park are a short stroll away.

    For residents only

From the discrete front entrance door that leads to a stylish marble-floored lobby, imbued with the subtle fragrance of Hotel 41’s own signature scent, to the warm, smiling staff that greet guests and encourage them to relax on the sumptuous leather-bound armchairs with a glass of Champagne before checking in – everything about the hotel says elegance and private exclusivity. Hotel 41 is strictly a residents only hotel.

    Inspired design

A chic, monochrome design runs throughout the hotel, complemented by mahogany-lined walls and smart leather furniture, lending everything a cosy, contemporary look and feel. Lighthearted prints by René Gruau, drawings by French caricaturist Sem, and intriguing objets such as antique globes and marble busts add a touch of style and whimsy to the surroundings.

    Choice dining

With full access to the exciting dining options of The Rubens, guests can indulge in everything from comforting signature dishes by founder Beatrice Tollman in the elegant English Grill, or authentic Indian flavours served at the Curry Room, to casual dining in the lively, South African-themed bbar next door. Our Leopard Lounge is the place to sit back with a just-crafted cocktail and take in the nightly live music.

    Our exclusive lounge

The refined Executive Lounge is the heart of the hotel. This is where guests are first welcomed, where they are encouraged to relax and unwind by the fire, perhaps perusing the pantry, generously stocked with mouthwatering homemade sweet and savoury treats throughout the day. In the evenings, a complimentary selection of canapés is served alongside a Champagne trolley.

    Thoughful touches

Our guest experience is at the heart of everything we do. Every team member is empowered to make a difference, offering a truly considerate attention to detail. Whether it's a welcome glass of Champagne, a personalised gift or a romantic candlelit turndown - we go above and beyond to ensure every stay is exceptional.

    A suite like no other

Every one of our 30 rooms are individually designed while sharing eclectic black and white touches, Savoir beds, unique artworks and always with our guests’ comfort front of mind. Most famous, though, is our grand, split-level Conservatory Suite, a guest favourite, with a wood-carved bed positioned beneath a glass roof, offering breathtaking views of the star-lit sky. The perfect setting for a romantic turndown.

    Thoughtful service

Our charming and thoughtful staff work to your timetable, and are always on hand, whether it’s to serve a delicious early start breakfast, or to pour a favourite drink after a day sightseeing. Each guest is looked after by two staff members, offering extraordinarily considerate service and an intuitive attention to detail, ensuring a seamless stay.

    We care

We are deeply committed to protecting our environment and are proud of our remarkable 350 square-metre Living Wall, made up of 10,000 lush herbaceous plants. We also provide ongoing support to local communities and causes, championing charities such as Starlight Children’s Foundation and The Passage. We're continuing to phase out single-use plastics, reduce food waste with Winnow Solutions and together with the TreadRight Foundation, striving to #MakeTravelMatter.
