In a location of your choice, capture timeless moments with our bespoke London family portrait experience with photographer Susannah Fields. Please allow approximately 2 hours for the shoot.

A Royal Hamper in the Park

Indulge in a regal picnic experience with Hotel 41's Royal Hamper in St. James' Park. Discover a lavish assortment of delectable treats carefully curated for a luxurious outdoor affair. From gourmet sandwiches to artisanal pastries, every bite is fit for a king or queen. Available from June to September.

Chef Ben Kelliher in the kitchen

Gourmet chef experience

Experience the kitchen up close in this experience created by our Executive Chef Ben Kelliher. Watch the chefs prep as you enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés. Afterwards, indulge in a four-course gourmet experience in The English Grill. Our Head Sommelier will be on hand to offer expert knowledge and guidance for your choice of beverages (drinks not included).

Beef wellington

Ben Kelliher’s Beef Wellington

Curated by our Executive Chef Ben Kelliher, join one of our chefs for a one-hour cooking class where you'll learn how to make the perfect beef wellington. During the experience, you'll enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés followed by a three-course dinner with the beef wellington as the main course, and our founder and president, Mrs Bea Tollman’s famous Baked Vanilla Cheesecake as dessert. 

Time: Tuesday to Saturday, 5pm

Create your own sustainable menu

Meet Executive Chef Ben Kelliher at The Rubens at The Palace for an experience unlike any other in London.

With a trip to the historic Borough Market, learn about the sustainable and responsible consumption of food before creating your very own plant-based, seven-course menu with produce sourced at the market, all prepared by Chef Ben.

The New York Bar Cocktail

Royal cocktails and sharing platter

Relax in the striking New York Bar at The Rubens at The Palace for an indulgent and personalised cocktail experience. Choose two cocktails from our cocktail menu, which will be expertly prepared by our talented bar team, alongside four plates from our sharing stand menu.

Beer flight

Enjoy a beer flight experience for two, including four small plates from our small plates menu (below) and a choice of two beers per person. Choose between Peroni, Meantime London Lager, Yakima Red Ale, Coast to Coast Pale Ale, Daura Damn, Meantime London Pale Ale, Meantime London Chocolate Porter and Guinness.

For those who don’t have the time to sit for a portrait session during their visit, or those who simply cannot wait to see themselves artfully presented alongside their beloved pooch, Julie Patmore will paint you and your pet in advance of your stay with us. A most charming surprise to receive when you arrive through our doors, especially when staying with your pet.
