The English Grill at The Rubens

The English Grill

Truly refined and stylish, The English Grill is set in opulently designed surroundings, serving the finest English produce from suppliers that serve the Queen’s kitchen. Murano chandeliers and a live-action kitchen make for a truly unique experience. The menu offers signatures classics, including salads, steaks, desserts, and dishes from our Founder and President, Mrs Beatrice Tollman. All meats are grilled to perfection in our charcoal-fired Josper Grill.

The dining experience is accompanied by an extensive wine list, including a fine selection from Bouchard Finlayson, our vineyard in South Africa, alongside a beautiful Champagne trolley.

The English Grill is proud to hold two AA Rosettes.

Immersive experiences

Create a plant-based menu at Borough Market

Meet Executive Chef Ben Kelliher at our sister hotel, The Rubens, to learn how they're reducing food waste in partnership with Winnow’s cutting-edge monitoring technology, and how we use surplus produce creatively in the kitchen. Chef Ben will also talk about the sustainable and responsible consumption of food, explaining how we work closely with the very best local and responsible suppliers. You will then visit Borough Market together, a historic market dating back to the 12th century with an emphasis on high-quality food and sustainable production.
